Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Our music ministry continues participating in the St. Mary's Church Saturday, 4:30 pm and Sunday, 11:00 am Mass choir. Kathy and I joined the Respect Life ministry at St. Mary's. We also continue participating in a Patriotic Rosary at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Queen Creek on the last Sunday of each month.

Our travels included returning to Bowling Green, OH for the Alexander Family reunion in July. We first stopped at the AnswersInGenisis.org Ark Encounter and Creation Museum near Covington, KY. At the reunion, we caught up with family members we had not seen in ages.

In September, we flew to Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, and boarded the Viking Cruise Expedition ship Polaris. We cruised Lake Superior, Soo Locks, Lake Huron, and Lake Michigan, and visited Mackinac Island. We took a submersible down to the wreck of the Gunilda, 81 meters below the surface in Lake Superior at McGarvey Shoal.

Doro and Dan continue to serve as a Therapy Dog Team at Mercy-Gilbert Hospital and now two Chandler elementary schools, Sanborn and Humphrey.  They were re-evaluated in October for another two years and received another perfect score. Most recently, Doro earned the BEE (Best Example of Excellence) from Dignity Health (Common Spirit). Only one BEE is awarded each year.  Doro turned 9 years old in July and has been a therapy dog for 7 years.

Dan is the Vice Chair of the IEEE Phoenix Section of the Life Member Affinity Group (LMAG), Knights of Columbus Assembly 2536 Faithful Comptroller and Council 3121 Treasurer, and president of our HOA.
